This feature-length documentary explores the challenges, dreams, desires, and creative as well as technical efforts behind producing high-level professional dance in Colombia. Choreographic works such as Skena by Ballet Folclórico de Antioquia, Flores para Kazuo Ohno & Leonard Kohen by Compañía del Cuerpo de Indias in Cartagena, La Serie de Danza Concierto in Medellín, La ciudad de los otros by Sankofa, Tangueándonos by Incolballet, and El carnaval del Diablo by L’Explose in Bogotá — among other powerful productions — bring to life the stories, performers, teachers, and companies that embody Colombia’s vibrant dance scene
